Logistics and Inventory Officer

Key Responsibilities:  Shipment Reception & Coordination: -Receive all incoming shipments at Kilimanjaro International Airport -Act as the on-site focal point to resolve any issues related to shipment arrival or clearance  Customs Liaison -Maintain good working relationships with customs officials at the airport. -Support resolution of day-to-day operational issues (delays, missing documents, inspections  Goods Reception and Verification -Physically check all incoming goods against packing lists and shipping documents. -Ensure quantities, references, and condition of products are accurate upon receipt. -Report any discrepancies (missing, damaged, or incorrect items) immediately  Inventory Control and Loss Prevention -Conduct regular and monthly physical inventory counts. -Investigate and report discrepancies independently from the sales team -Maintain clear and organized stock records -Monitor stock handling to prevent losses, errors, or shrinkage. -Support the Loss Prevention Manager in maintaining strong control procedures.  Reporting and Communication -Ensure transparency and traceability of all stock movements -Maintain proper documentation of shipments and inventory checks
